I find it very difficult to believe that the verdict has only to do with her embezzlement of funds and misdemeanor. It definitely seems like a case of saving the face of Air Force and sacrificing an individual.

It's amazing that Air Force judiciary penal code dictates court-marshalling for fudging of a thousand bucks and throwing a senior's breakfast parcel. Makes me question this military discipline.

Although my first reaction is to cry out against the widespread gender discrimination and the world being unfair ( U guyz expected me to say this !), it is tough to take a stand on this. I am not sure how much her gender was responsible for actions against her. It is altogether another matter to question about military discipline. For us civilians, it seems harsh, but probably such rules are crucial in war times.
