I find this disgusting

Alright, ages since I wrote anything here but I just had to talk to someone about this. I'm sure most of you read about the murder of the 14 yr old girl "Aarushi" in Noida last month. Every now and then, I read about any progress made in the case. One word for the way it has been covered by the media- DISGUSTING. Instead of focussing on 2 things, namely who committed the crime and sharing grief and feeling the hurt and pain that any loved ones might be feeling, all I read about is her "character". What the hell does that mean anyway? Now a murder victim needs a character certificate from these stupid people? And does whatever they term "good character" entitle one to more respect (especially after dying!)? Do they even think before putting such stuff in print. And its not just the media; its the police as well. Every time they "think" they have a clue, they announce their next suspect and the media goes to town with it. What ever happened to reporting? Seriously, what's wrong with people? Is this what the audience wants? Sensationalized grief!? I don't have words to express my disbelief.
