Song: The Man of Constant Sorrow (napster) (video) (lyrics)
Album: O Brother Where Art Thou (Soundtrack)
Artist: Soggy Bottom Boys (!)
I heard this song first in the above movie. It is very characteristic of the movie (which is a very interesting adaptation of the 'odyssey' of 3 prisoners in Mississppi -- a must see). It seems to have been sung by many other country singers like Bob Dylan, Aisson Kraus, etc.
The lyrics are quite foreboding (and for once not about your girl ...) but the music is light and in fact foot-tapping!
